I am a third-year graduate student in linguistics at UC Berkeley. Particularly intrigued by how our physical experience of the world influences language, I'm a cognitive linguist. I am currently working with the geometry and forces of motion events, how motion events are perceived, and the polysemy and meaning extensions that these situations potentially influence. Also, I am currently a graduate student instructor for the linguistics course Metaphor and the student webmaster for the cognitive linguistics group CogNetwork. In previous semesters I have been a GSI for The Mind and Language, and one of the organizers of BLS41.
